Jan Dostál's sculpture will decorate the inner block of Žižkovské zahrady

CPI Rezidence's Žižkovské zahrady development project will be enriched by a distinctive artistic element. A sculpture by renowned Czech sculptor Jan Dostál will be placed in the courtyard. The work of patinated steel, reminiscent of an abstract tree, will complement the green space of the project and become its visual landmark.
"We want Žižkovské zahrady to be not only a place for quality living, but also to have added cultural and aesthetic value. Jan Dostál's art installation underlines our emphasis on the uniqueness of the project, its connection with nature and at the same time with the city's public space," said Milena Zavadilová, Sales Director of CPI Rezidence, adding: "Today, those interested in living, especially among the younger generation, are looking for more than just layout and location. They see the quality of the environment in a broader sense - from sustainability to aesthetics."
Jan Dostál, whose large-scale sculptures adorn public spaces in the Czech Republic and abroad, sees the project as an opportunity to connect his sculpture with urban life. "I was interested in the vision of the courtyard as a green space with its own character. The sculpture I am preparing for Žižkovské zahrady is a light composition inspired by nature. Materially, I work with corten steel, which ages naturally and blends in with the organic surroundings."
His work is characterised by the use of raw metal structures without unnecessary ostentation, but with a strong architectural effect. The Žižkovské zahrady project will offer 210 premium standard residential units, each with its own terrace, balcony or front garden. The design was created in collaboration with the renowned MS architects studio, with an emphasis on quality workmanship, sustainability and harmony with the surroundings. Construction began in 2024, with completion scheduled for the end of 2026.
An art object will be installed in the courtyard during the final phase of construction as part of a concept that combines housing, landscape and contemporary art.
