About the project
The Dům U akátu project delivers a detailed and well-thought-out reconstruction of an original tenement house. It will produce modern and luxurious housing in step with modern trends, in terms of both its arrangement and the materials used. The reconstruction and expansion will create a total of 28 flats, ranging from one- to four-room designs (all with kitchenettes) with floor areas from 42 to 119 square metres.
Flats will be available not only on the five original floors, but also in the previously unused loft where there will be three new above-standard flats. Two of the three will even have roof terraces that will ensure both comfort and much sought-after privacy. As a matter of course, the building’s basement will provide storage spaces, one for each flat. In floor area, they will range from 2.7 to 9.5 square metres.
Including the loft, the house will consist of six floors. Each floor will be serviced by a newly installed lift situated in the eastern part of the building. There will also be a room for the storage of bicycles and prams while the well-considered communal areas will include a room for household refuse, accessible from the outside. The building has an energy efficiency rating of B. Also available for download is the building’s Energy Performance Certificate. The plan is to complete the project during the final quarter of 2019.
